SUB13 Production Run III for Leica Q

Designed for Leica Q2, Q3, and Q3 43, featuring 100% optically correct glass dome ports, lens specific, purpose built to deliver full image quality with edge to edge sharpness and no vignetting. Uniquely curved proprietary domes ensure the optical performance of both the 28mm lens and the 43mm lens is fully realised underwater.

Independently certified to 40 m / 130 ft.

USB C Bulkhead

Production Run III features a USB C bulkhead for direct battery charging and image transfer, maintaining a sealed system between dives while reducing setup time.

  • Fully functional underwater housing, designed for Leica Q2 and Leica Q3 cameras. Main body accommodates both, requiring only an additional backplate to switch between the two cameras.

    Full control over manual aperture or manual focus.

  • Main body, interchangeable front ports and backplate, CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminium, sandblasted, hard anodised black.

  • PVD coated Grade 4 titanium hardware for durability and corrosion resistance. Each piece of hardware is designed and crafted to balance form and function, from knurled handles, bolts and dials to sleek pushers, extending to the baseplate your camera is secured to.

  • Flat port, dome port and custom viewing windows fitted with optical crystal glass.

    Flat port and dome port glass is AR coated, inside only.

    Flat Port

    The flat port increases focal length by approximately 1.33x underwater due to refraction.

    Dome Port

    100% optically correct dome ports, one designed for Leica Q2 and Q3, and one for Q3 43.

  • USB C bulkhead, M16 × 1 thread, for direct battery charging and image transfer. M16 × 1 thread also supports strobe connection when USB C bulkhead is removed.

  • Two finger grooves enable housing breakdown when pressurised.

    Three individual tripod mounts support versatile attachment options, ensuring flexibility for future accessories.

    Non slip rubber inserts protect the underside of the housing, providing stability onboard watercraft.

  • Each individual housing is identified by a unique serial number, laser engraved and paint filled in black.

    Raw machined finishes and XXX serial numbers are reserved for prototypes.

  • Independently certified to the maximum recreational scuba diving depth of 40 m / 130 ft by DOER Marine, founded by Dr Sylvia Earle.

    Production Run III prototype pressure tested to complete failure by DOER Marine.

    Depth of failure: 95.89 m / 314.599 ft.

  • 2.7 kg / 6 lb with flat port.

    3.5 kg / 7.7 lb with dome port.
